A low pressure system continues to bring heavy rain to communities in the Kivalliq which will last until Sunday evening. Total rainfall accumulations are expected to be between 25 and 45 mm.

Strong easterly winds coinciding with the rain continue, with gusts up to 90 km/h possible. This will result in visibilities being reduced at times when the rain and wind are strongest.

The rain and wind are expected to taper off the next few hours.

Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced at times. Local utility outages are possible.
